The Minister for Disability Issues is pleased to announce thirteen successful applications from the NZSL Community Grants, totaling $395.800.20 for the 2020/2021 financial year.

Round 6 of the contestable process for community-driven initiatives was open in August 2019.

2018 Recipients
Round 5 of the contestable process for community-driven initiatives was open from December 2018 to February 2019. The theme for Round 5 was ‘Creative Connections’. The grants total $363,204.23 for the 2018/19 financial year.

2017 Recipients
The theme for Round Four was “NZSL in our hands: Our language, our taonga, our identity, our past, our future”. Thirteen NZSL projects in the fourth funding round have been approved to receive a total of $441,338.75.
