Applications are now invited for the New Zealand Sign Language Community (NZSL) Grants.
The grants are awarded to support the promotion and maintenance of NZSL.
Applications close on 2 August 2026. Before applying, applicants are encouraged to consider how their project supports 1 or more of the 5 priority areas in the NZSL Strategy 2026-2036 external.
Projects must be completed within the grant period of 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027.
NZSL community grants are administered by Whaikaha – Ministry of Disabled People on behalf of NZSL Board, which makes final funding decisions.
